Silver Anniversary-XT has been specifically designed as the natural replacement for the multi-award winning Silver Anniversary speaker cable. Combining the features of Silver Anniversary with the added enhancement of X-Tube(TM) technology to combat the skin effect and deliver stunning detail.
When supplied factory pre-terminated this is fitted with Airloc Heat Shrink 4mm Banana Plugs.

X-Tube™ Technology
At low frequencies both X-TubeTM and conventional stranded/solid core speaker cables convey signals in a linear way. However, at high frequencies, X-TubeTM retains a near-linear signal transfer, whereas the conventional cable fails to conduct uniformly across the entire conductor area. The result is that X-TubeTM delivers greater fidelity across the audio spectrum which would other wise be lost in ordinary cables.

At low frequencies both X-TubeTM and conventional stranded/solid core speaker cables convey signals in a linear way. However, at high frequencies, X-TubeTM retains a near-linear signal transfer, whereas the conventional cables fail to conduct uniformly across the entire conductor area.
In standard speaker cables at high frequencies current flow is highest at the periphery with rapidly deteriorating current density towards the centre of the conductor.

The effect of this is to reduce the actual cross sectional area of the cable at 15kHz to less than 75% of that at low frequencies. This results in higher distortion and compromises the performance of the cable.
X-TubeTM with polycore technology exhibits much lower self-inductance and is therefore less affected by this problem. The polycore technology reduces loop inductance to levels only achievable using more costly and difficult to terminate cables.
The result is more high frequency detail, less distortion and greater performance.

Delicate almost see through highs clean mid quick bass
Dali sensor 3s dali spector centre dali 12 inch sub 4x dali pico surrounds Cambridge CXC CD Cambridge DVD86 ALL tweeters at ear level PERFECT lasthe not least Yamaha RX V685.
PUNCHES well above its weight could be described as being a little thin occasionally with some material however possible Yamaha trait. This is easy to fix by upping sub 0.5 dB. If you are an imagery fan like speed and transparent sound this as a whole works beautifully at this price point

Excellent cable, Excellent price, and lifetime guarantee
Bought these to connect dali zensor 3 to back 4 channels on my denon x4000 and wow what a difference crystal clear and tight control on my drivers and tweeters, improves sound stage and looks and sounds great as part of a £6000 audio set up. And they really do keep to the lifetime guarantee as one of there dealers did not use the right size connector on my speaker cable when doing airlock phoned Linda at qed and she asked me to send it in and she replaced it a no extra cost or postage. Where as I spent £26 on recorded delivery and insurance. Bravo amazing company I've used for reference and now signature as well since 1996 when I discovered there ad in dvd review in1996 for the R.G.B. only scart that still worked in2010 and looks like new still.
